EQUI-PASS PROGRAM OVERVIEW
The
Equi-Pass Program was developed by the
Strategic Solutions Consortium.
The program’s core mission is to engage, equip and evolve;
it helps people and organizations attain 21st Century job skills.
Engage
The Equi-Pass Program recognizes the importance of maintaining
stakeholder engagement – for learners, learning centre
administrators, donators, local enterprises, trainers and any other
party who plays a role in the success of the program.
Equip
Strategic Solutions Consortium has train-the-trainer expertise to
ensure all stakeholders get equipped with the tools and resources
to achieve success. Key to program success is up-skilling all
learning centre facilitators who become expert on the learning
portal for the latest in learning management and candidate
engagement strategies. Additional business development and marketing
training sessions further equip centre personnel with all the tools
necessary to promote and build effective local business and
enterprise relationships, resulting in employment for Equi-Pass
participants.
Evolve
The Equi-Pass Program is designed to help evolve the learner, the
centre and the local business community. For the learner, Equi-Pass
is a chance to evolve personally and develop a career. For the
centre, Equi-Pass provides a sustainability model called
Equi-Partner, which provides an opportunity to build sustainable
business relationships. Equi-Pass provides the local businesses
community a means to integrate local resources and provide
opportunities to local citizens.

Equi- Centres are
not-for-profit, charitable and community based learning centres
across Canada engaged in delivering the Equi-Pass Program. Each
Equi-Centre has access to the latest e-Learning tools for a wide
variety of 21st Century Internet, business and essential soft
skills training, including:
Equi-Pass
is a membership program for participating Equi-Centres. After
portal registration, each learner in the Equi-Pass Program receives
a unique identity membership card which will gain them access to
the components of The Equi-Pass Program. Equi-Pass Learners are
able to work at their own pace and access learning anytime online.
Equi-Centre training facilitators measure
learner success and progress and can communicate to learners from
the one central location.

Equi- Partners are
Equi-Pass Program sponsor organizations comprised of local
businesses who participate in the program to create a transition
from ‘learning to doing’ as well as sponsoring Equi-Pass
memberships for individuals within their organization and their
community. Equi-Partners are local organizations that:
Equi-Centres
are trained, coached and equipped with Equi-Partner marketing
resources to assist building relationships within the community so
that they can provide education:
For the Learner... to
gain access to increased employment opportunities with an increased
sense of belonging in the community.
For the Centre... to
increase revenue and drive sustainability. Equi-Centres even have
the opportunity to sell staff training to Equi-Partners, providing
additional corporate training revenue.
For the Equi-Partner... to
access a pool of skilled local individuals seeking employment and
reduce recruitment costs.
